SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA–SBI Builders is proud to have been able to take part in the groundbreaking ceremony of Jamboree Housing’s newest project, Park Landing. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 5, 2012 and construction is slated to start April 16, 2012.
SBI Builders President, Paul Nuytten, said, “We’re really excited to kick off this project with Jamboree in the City of Buena Park. It’s our third project with Jamboree and each project gets better and better.”
Park Landing is a four-story apartment complex that incorporates contemporary urban design. Park Landing is based on the unique New Block (TM) concept, a proprietary architectural design for two- to four-acre urban infill sites, development by Newman Garrison + Partners, that features a green roof above the parking area. Utilizing the LiveRoof (R) system, this unique green rooftop amenity will provide more than 20,000 square feet of outdoor recreational space. A mixture of native drought-tolerant plans, succulents, and tall grasses will create active and passive outdoor spaces. This park like setting will also include a tot lot, fireplace, barbeque areas, and walking trail.
